All Around Sarabande
Besides the gracious and peaceful landscape of the Sarabande grounds, the Los Ranchos de Albuquerque provides a pastoral setting with beautiful houses and properties, farmland, and pathways. The city of Albuquerque is only a mile away with all of its attractions. Old Town in one direction, the Balloon park in another, and the Sandia Tram just up the hill are just the beginning. Los Poblanos Open Space and Farm Trails is across the street from Sarabande to the south. Every season offers different perspectives and great vistas as visitors walk the trails. A quarter mile walk takes you to the open space. Then a mile around a field offers a bit of exercise and great views.

Other walks can take you through interesting neighborhoods and/or along the acequias through the bosque.
